Completing my strategy?! Next step?!

Hello BP I am young and inexperienced looking for advise on my real estate strategy. So to begin I will have about 20,000$ for my first purchase into real estate on FHA (3%-3.5% down) in a house hack. I am held back for another four or so months due to not having a credit score (currently fixing this problem) I am moving to Arizona from Wahington due to home prices being far out of my financial range. My Arizona market has an amazing growth rate as well as many short term rental options, I am going to Brrr the property once it accumulates more value. I want to learn more about commercial real estate investing, I currently work in general contracting and construction and would like to transition into full time real estate in the near future (wanting to learn from someone with more experience ) as well as build my own portfolio of long and short term rentals. Is there any way to scale this strategy faster? Or any better ways to invest my funds that maybe not need my credit score raised so immediately. Would it be better to continue in contracting until There are a few homes under my portfolio (at least one or two) or start looking for a mentor and or team to work with? Iam looking for any advise! Thank you all!!!
