Looking to get into multi unit BRRRR investing

New to bigger pockets, I have a full time job in southern California, interested iN getting into multi unit long term investing. Still have a somewhat limited downpayment, been reading about BRRRR investing and it seems like a great way to recycle your money. Would this strategy be possible as a long distance investor and full time job? (with a good team in place). And any insight into nearby markets that can make this strategy possible? (more possibility of cash flowing properties?). I was looking into Vegas since it's somewhat close to me and seems more affordable than SoCal, but have struggled to find good deals.

Thanks!!
