Beginner - General questions

Hello,

New to the blog and podcast, and though there seems to be a vast abundance of resources, I’m a little overwhelmed at where to begin.

I am a homeowner myself living in Massachusetts and looking to get involved in real estate investing. The housing market in general is obviously out of control at this point, especially in Massachusetts, so I am open to remote investing as well.

My only real goal at this point would be to acquire a property in a reliable market that generates steady cash flow (and hopefully appreciates in the meantime). As we just purchased our home this year, funds available for a down payment are relatively limited (which is why I am open to more affordable remote markets).

Where do I begin and how do I begin?

Thanks in advance
