Should I rent out to my parents 6 months of the year?

Hi everyone! I am a new investor planning to buy my first investment property in the next 1-3 months. I've read multiple posts about how it would be unwise to rent out to relatives/extended family and I understand the risks associated with that. I'm curious to know if the same principles would apply to my parents. For context, they currently live in Europe but want to spend 6 months of the year in the US. I'm thinking of buying a home I can rent out to them for 6 months of the year, and then set up a mid/short term lease for the remaining 6 months with other tenants. In my opinion they would be the safest tenants possible and I have a great relationship with them, but curious for your thoughts on whether or not it's a good idea. Appreciate your input!
