Applications and credit checks
I have been doing my own property management for a while. We own several rental properties. I use Zillow rental manager to advertise our rentals but have not used their applications. I have been handing hard copy applications to interested people when they view the house. Some choose to complete the application at that time and I collect the application fee at that time too. I guess I’m old school but it has worked for me.
Can someone explain how the process works if you use Zillow application? How do you collect the application fee?
I have a local credit bureau agency do the credit checks (on-line), but does Zillow rental manager also offer credit checks?
Thanks for any and all input.
