Laundry income duplex
Im about to househack a duplex where basement is shared and one outlet for washer and dryer. I would like to charge a monthly fee for the other unit but what if they deny but end up using washer/dryer while I’m gone? How can I supervise this? Any ideas or tips?

Build a wall around it and lock the door.
Or make the basement off limits to them completely with a locked door.
