Investing in Taylor Tx

Now that Samsung has decided to open in Taylor. Is now a good time to buy an investment home? I saw there’s only really 2 rental homes listed. Both at $2k ish. It would take a year to build the home. Mortgage at around $2300. I worry it’s too early to jump in but I also don’t want to get priced out. Thoughts?
