Power/Electric For Rec Cabin in SoCal High Desert

Does anyone have information or experience with getting power to a rec/homestead cabin in the Morongo Valley area? The cabin 480 sf and has never had meter. There is a pole with a transformer approximately 205 feet away on the cabin's 5-acre property. Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated!
