Building a house from the ground up.

Hey all, for the past 10 years I built my business as a real estate investor that is hands on. I built a solid portfolio of rental and of course sub contracted 99% of the renovations. I want to take it to the next level and become a licensed General contractor. I would like to start building houses from the ground up. Does anyone have recommendation for books I can read that might help be have a better understanding or the process and the steps of construction in general. Obviously every project has its own complexity, but I just want to gain knowledge at this point.

Thank you in advance.
