Cost to build a SFH by sq.ft. (rough estimate needed) ?

I know it's a "hard to answer" question, but I just need a (very) rough number.

*Maryland, Baltimore Metro Area.
*Would like a 2,000 sq. ft. rancher with the finished basement, 2-car garage, deck, 3 bdr, 2 1/2 bth (1/2 in the basement), hardwood floors, tile in the kitchen, bathrooms, vinyl siding, central air. No need for a pool.

Don't need luxury or top of the line finish. Medium quality would suffice.

Would $150/sq. ft. be fair for an estimate to build?

I think $150 would be high so if your numbers pencil out using that figure you should be find. I would think $105 to $120/sq ft but that is a PFA number (plucked from air)

Good luck - Ned
