New Construction Building Costs

This is all taking place in NY on Long Island.

My partner and I just finished with a new construction project. It was started before covid and had to be held through it, currently it's on the completed and on the market. We have a few other projects lined up but after talking to some other builder friends (who build multiple projects at a time) they've been telling us that they're seeing lumber costs almost double, plumbing fixtures and things like hot water heater, furnace etc increase in both price and it's taking much longer to get the equipment. Because of this we're now thinking of possibly just reselling the houses that we were going to rebuild.

Is anyone else experiencing this in NY or your market.
