Advice for a first time flipper - Do’s & don’ts

Wanted to reach out to y’all and see if you had any good advice that you could give to a first time flipper like myself. Working on buying my first house to flip and was wondering if anyone had any do’s and don’ts that they have discovered over various flips. Any advice is appreciated!
