Ductless Mini Splits vs. Full AC?
I am closing on my first property tomorrow. My property doesn’t have AC. It does have a furnace with ductwork. I have an AC guy who will do the work for relatively cheap. I plan on holding my property for awhile as it has solid cash flow potential.
My question is should I just purchase the ductless ac because it will be cheaper or should I buy the full ac unit? The house is 1040 sq ft.
Thanks for the help.

Since you have the duct I’d go AC unit. Mini splits are finicky and you could need multiple heads (equivalent to thermostats) to create separate cooling zones, plus many are not rated for very cold outside temps like you get in Ohio winters.
