VA construction loan Metro atl area

Hi everyone looking for advice on a VA construction loan. Currently have access to VA website to find builders. This will be in the metro ATL area also looking to see average cost per sq ft. Has anyone done something similar looking for a ball park cost per sq ft what should I be expecting. I currently am looking at a house plan with basement option approximately 2700sq ft with 3 car garage option this will be a mid grade build. Not sure how this changes the cost I'm sure cost will go up do to cost of materials and labor. Anything I should look for in the process ?Any help is appreciated.
