Permitted Zoning and City Codes

Hi everyone!

I would love some advice. I am currently looking at this land for sale in Los Angeles (specifically in the City of Commerce). I found it on Loop Net and it is listed by Kidder Mathews. My boss is interested in learning more about this land and wanted me to find more information about it. Specifically, he wanted me to check the city codes to see what can be done on the site and for permitted zoning.

What are some good resources out there to find that kind of information? Would the listing brokers know best?

Thank you!

@Oleg Enik

Look up the property on the cities zoning map.  Determine what the zoning district it is in.  Go to the zoning code and look up the zoning district and it will give you the permitted uses as well as special/conditional uses.
