Contractor-Can I Hire My Business For Rehab?

We are an investment property contractor that has worked on lots and lots of flips for others. We also maintain and turn rental property. We would like to flip or hold one of our own. This would be our first and we have spoken to both our traditional mortgage broker and a private hard money lender. We would like our real estate investment LLC to be able to hire our contracting LLC. We are a woman-owned contractor (wife sole-proprietor) though we are going to incorporate at some point maybe soon. Looking for advice!
