I want to build a SFR home on a land parcel. Is that wise?

Hey All, I have a small piece of land and I'm contemplating putting a home on there. And I'm looking to get just some general ideas on how to start.. From analyzing if it's even worth the investment, figuring out the estimated cost, builders, getting a loan..any sorta direction or advice would help. 😃 is that a wise idea? Thank Ya!
