Rowhome Rear Addition Thoughts

Hey all,

I'm a real estate newbie and I wanted some ballpark cost estimates (maybe 20K range?) on a project I want to do. The property is a ~12 foot wide and ~33 foot deep 1914 brick rowhome in Baltimore City. I want to "bump out" the rear of the 2nd floor about 15 feet because the rear bedroom is tiny and unusable. I'm undecided whether I would bump out the main floor rear as well or leave it as a porch underneath the 2nd floor bump out. I'm also curious as to what the cost difference between doing just the upper floor compared to both the upper and main floor. Also, would like to hear anyone's experience doing the same thing.

Thanks.
