Help with calculating some rehab costs.
Hello Everyone,
I am trying to put together multiple spreadsheets for investors on various properties. An issue I am running into is finding costs for painting, roofing, HVAC, drywall, plumbing, electrical etc..
I find that it is taking an exorbinant amount of time to compile all these figures for various properties. On top of the time, how do I know that the plumbing or electrical guy is giving me an aggressive price to fix certain issues? I want to provide potential investors with all the information on a property necessary for them to make an easy decision if the project is for them or not. Is there an easier way of compiling all of this information without hiring a GC? If hiring a GC is the best way, would they give me free quotes on the costs to bring the property up to par? As always I greatly appreciate the responses.
