HURRICANES driving materials costs up in your area? FEEDBACK ?
We are getting ready to build a spec in Bend Oregon, and since originally pricing out materials and getting bids from subs, we are hearing that prices are already being affected due to the demand in Florida and Texas. Are you seeing this yet in your area? Question: Should we put in utilities and slab and hold off on framing until Spring, hoping prices will go back down once materials manufacturers get supply back up, or ?
Specific to Oregon - what's your experience with building in Oregon this time of year? @Jay Hinrichs and others? (Flat lot, close to street)
