Builder not responding, new home construction in contract

Signed a contract with a builder to build new home in OR. Lots/land is owned by the builder.Contract is under the escrow.

Home was supposed be ready 6 months ago but builder is not reachable.  He doesn't pick up phone or respond to messages. Realtor also complained about the same. Contract is in  Salem OR. Given the situation what are my best options. Can I put lien on the land parcel?

Shan K. Too bad, you should have done your research on the builder. Did you lose any money? Either you wait, or visit his office and see what's really going on, or quit and cur your loses. It is highly unlikely that you will get a court decision for "lost opportunities" compensation. You invest, you lost, you should know what you're doing and its risk, before entering into anything. It's just how the world works.
