Miami Real Estate Development Companies
Please forgive me if this is the wrong place to post such an inquiry.
I am really interested in learning more about real estate development. Was considering a few masters programs but really can't imagine it's worth the financial investment for someone in my particular situation. So instead I'd like to see if there are any firms willing to take on an apprentice/intern on a part-time or short-term basis. I'm willing to help out in any way and just want to observe the ins and outs of the business.
My background is in SFH and small MFH, both rehabs and new build. We also have one mid-sized commercial property in our portfolio. But I haven't been able to make the jump into larger development projects (particularly mixed-use) despite having access to some capital. I just don't feel comfortable without more knowledge and experience.
I mention Miami because I may be moving there on a part-time basis and will probably be looking for something to do while I'm there.
Thanks in advance!!

Hi @Maxwell Lee how's it going, did you ever make it to Miami? I've heard the same it's best to find a developer and work with them, but easier said than done. We have a piece of land that is zoned for up to a 5 story apartment building so i'm desperately looking for some of the same info you are. I'm considering checking out some of Frank Gallinelli's materials just to get some education while i reach to professionals in the community.
