Home/Floorplan Design Websites
Looking into my first new construction project. Has anybody had a good experience with a home plan design site? Does it matter which site I use? I had an architect say that plans can range from $500-$10,000

@Mark Douglas Buying pre-made plans will save you money, but you have to have a land that works with the house plans. Once you get into custom house plans, it can mean big bucks.
Also, that architect was not being entirely truthful if he/she was referring to them drawing up plans. There is no way you can find anyone to draw you up custom plans for $500. Most pre-made plans offered on websites are in the $500-2000 ranges, my guess is custom would run you way more.
