inherited land
Hello, I'm new to this site and relatively new to real estate investing. I have a couple multi unit buildings. Unfortunately through the death of a family member I was left some land not far from a highway exit. I have had a few low ball offers, unsolicited, but thought that I might want to develop it. So I thought that maybe I could look here to for advice. The land is probably the only one around it that is undeveloped but it is completely raw, mostly trees, uneven landscape and no utilities. I know the gas company will run a line for little charge but I am looking to find out what kind of costs figures I am looking at to get this in buildable condition - cleared, graded, utilities in place. etc. Maybe this isn't the best way I should be thinking but I thought I might be able to get some advice here on where I can start. Thanks for any info or advice.
