Panelized Home Experiences

Hey Crew, do any of you have any experience, or know someone who does, with building a home utilizing the panelized concept?

To be more specific, what I'm referencing is the concept where a company/builder delivers to your job site, in 6-10' panels, the framing for the entire house, plus truss system, sheathing, and the like. Along with windows installed, siding, house wrap, etc. Then you basically put the panels together in order, install the doors, the truss system, sheathing, and boom, a watertight frame.

Concept is that you can go from zero to frames in a week or so, instead of several.

I have a lot here in the Central Texas area that I'm trying to figure out how to develop and the price point for the area proves to be a little challenging. Additionally, the housing boom continues to grow and so finding framers, etc. to get the work done, especially at the $150-200k price point is difficult. Thought this might be an interesting concept to explore.

@Lynn Currie, any info on someone doing this in our area?
