Who can build an A-Frame?

My wife and I have purchased a small Cape Cod in Worcester ( Tatnuck area on west side )

Along with this property we purchased a SF buildable lot adjacent to the house ( paid cash for the lot ). We are wanting to build a cash flow 3/2 rental. Rents here are about 13-1500 for a 3/2 house. Most homes cannot be built in this area to cash flow. We are wondering if an A-Frame home can be built from a walk out basement ( cement block built into a hill ) with the 2nd floor being the A-Frame roof which would cash flow? Can this be built for under 100k?
