How to convert library to apartments

There are many large old buildings in my area (schools, Libraries, churches) that are functionally obsolete.  I'm considering a former library which I would convert to apartments.  Does anybody know of any websites that show how others have done this? Floor plans, architectural drawings, etc?  I realize that I will have to hire experts, but I'm looking for ideas to get me started.  Thank you.
