Looking for Novel Ways to Navigate Around a Pain in the Ass South Carolina Law
I own 108 acres of land in Carlisle South Carolina that I would like to sell. Part of the property (1/4) was owned by a relative, *I own the rest) that died ten years ago in Pennsylvania. The executor did not properly probate her share in the Union County court. This is preventing a real estate agent from listing the property which they have a buyer lined up for $480K.
I have reached out to multiple lawyers in South Carolina looking for workarounds but no creative ideas have emerged. I am hopeful that someone can propose an innovative strategy around my challenge.
