Plans & blueprints from the City
As I’m out and about I see a house/townhome, etc… I really like. Has anyone had luck getting the plans for it from the city planning offices? Is that something they could provide?
Maybe a FOIA request?

Depending on the municipality you may have access to the ‘Site Plan’; these are the plans used in the local administrative approvals process aka ‘Entitlement Process’. Sometimes the architect contributes elevations, the general public may have access, you could then contact that architect/ builder. Floor plans are not Construction Documents. You might get lucky. Also, some realtor listings provide floor plans. Combine resources to get as far as you can. Or hire the architect.
