Investor seeking guidance on entering multi-family housing market

I have been investing in real estate for the past few years.  I have a small portfolio of properties made up of condos and a 5 unit mobile home park.  I want to continue to grow my assets and feel that my next step is to look a larger 15-20 unit multi-family property.  Before I make this move I would like to find a mentor and learn from their knowledge, experience and wisdom; especially about private money lenders.  I have read books about PML's and understand the concept, but would like a voice of reason to have as a sounding board.  I would appreciate the groups thoughts.  As a side note, I am located in the Winston Salem NC market and I believe there are some great deals to be had in this area once I have a better understanding of what I am seeking to accomplish. I would be happy to chat further and perhaps find a mentor if anyone is interested.

David - I am currently targeting 10-40 unit buildings and working with a mentor the past year. I explored many different mentorship programs and in their own right each one has some strengths. From my perspective finding someone with a "style/approach" that you can resonate with is important because what worked for them may or may not work for you if your style/approach is different. I'm happy to discuss with you and provide my thoughts. Please feel free to message me.
