Nashville multifamily locations

Hi all

I'm relocating to Nashville in the next few months and hoping to find a multifamily to live in one unit and rent out the other(s). Any suggestions on good areas? I want to be in a safe area and no farther than 30 minutes from the downtown.

Hey Audrey! Let me to be the first to (prematurely) welcome you to Nashville! I'm a licensed agent, working for an investment brokerage here in Nashville. I think the best areas for affordable duplexes and triplexes are Murfreesboro, West Nashville and North Nashville (Bordeaux, Madison). However, we come across some home runs not far from downtown every now and then that are too good of deals to pass up. Send me a personal message if you have any more questions!
