What's the best rental Property software in 2021?
Hey Everyone,
A friend and I are looking into starting a property management company. Curranty between us we have just over 200 units in multiple holding companies. Our plan is to hammer out the systems on our units and then offer our service to the public to generate more income and help off set costs. Ideally we would like a system that would offer these features.
Base accounting software
Rent collection
Tenant screening
varying levels of access ( Owners (us) Property manger, maintenance, property owners, tenants)
And what ever features we don't know we need yet.
I've read some older posts, but with the way technology is changing, I'm interested in what the best platform to handle hundreds of units for multiple owners is today.

Great business idea Daniel, and it should be excellent in 2022 given the outlook for the rental property sector. Buildium and Appfolio are really geared for large enterprise users (1000s of units) and typically won't want smaller clients. Costs for most are similar but many of them aren't strong in accounting. That's why many landlords stick with Intuit or spreadsheets. Just wanted to suggest that you think about where you're going, to make sure the software is very modern, cloud based, with a focus on automation. Have a good look at ManageCasa and go for a demo on it and ask lots of questions. Then you can sort through all the software offerings out there.
