I'm dreaming on getting my first 4 unit property investment

my first property investment was a hacking a two family house located in Syracuse, NY 

have being living in my property for over 17months. I want to do the next step, my goal is to buy my first 4 units investment property. have some saving from my rental for the past 17 months and some personal saving from my regular job. $17k I know is not much but i really want to buy my first 4 units investment property. is nothing wrong to buy another two units if this one give me a good return. any ideal guys on what steps I should take?
