Best and worst features of your duplex or muti-unit
I am looking to build some new duplexes. We have started looking at floor plans what features we would like to include or not include.
What is your Favorite or least favorite thing(s) about your multi-unit property that I should put in my plans?

From a landlord perspective, my duplex had separate gas and electric, but common water. Would like all to be separate. Little to no common area, so I had no house meters.
From a tenant perspective: separate entrances are nice, wish there was in unit laundry (my duplex has shared basement laundry). Would probably prefer side by side, versus up down layout. Adequate off street parking for all tenants.
