Multifamily investments NC

Newbie investor, living in Raleigh NC.

Bought my first rental SFH towards end of last year.

Would like to take another step and increase the portfolio, looking for multifamily rentals.

As far as the little knowledge that had on RE, none of the deals are lasting more than few days within or around 1% rule.

So looking for suggestions and connections about the cities that people here are investing which are good rental market in around NC.

P.S: Didn’t find the sub-local forum before so the same discussion got posted as generic.

Hey Lohith!

I live in Durham NC - The Durham/Chapel Hill + Raleigh, Charlotte MSA are all areas where prices are high (not impossible to find a good deal with preferable returns however likely, not to sure).

Some sub-markets we are considering are cities in between the major MSAs in NC- Between the Triad, Durham/Chapel Hill and Charlotte- places with growing population, job growth, steady rental increases, and other demographics that justify it being a good place to invest. Let me know if you have any more questions would love to connect!
