Nursing Home to Multifamily Complex
An opportunity just came up to buy a vacant nursing home that can be re-purposed into a multifamily complex of about 25-30 units. Anyone know some of the intricacies of doing this in a town of about 6,000 people? No zoning issues. I have done only duplex and fourplex. would I need architect? engineers? a commercial contractor? is it harder to cash out, being a small town? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
