Brokering deals to REITS - Do REITS use buy side brokers?
I work at a brokerage and found an off market Multifamily deal $50M+ who is fielding offers. I found a buyer at an institution that has cash on hand ready to make an offer but is hesitant to sign an exclusivity agreement. How do I make money on this deal? Do REITS use buy-side brokers on off market deals? Is there another strategy I can use to make money on this deal?
