Investigating New Construction 2-Flat in Chicago?

Hey everyone, I want to weigh the cost and advantages of building a new 2-flat vs. gutting an older one, but am having trouble finding decent information online for area home builders specializing in affordable 2-flats. Has anyone on here built one new in Chicago? If so, can you send some information my way?

I am not even sure this is in the budget, but I figure it's worth looking into, as my next move is going to be my primary residence for some time.
