I'm a residential muti family investor looking to take advantage of these times. Im wondering how I could get listing from banks when houses start to come on the market at a discount.

You want to reach out to the bank and ask the the REO or special assets manager. They handle all the distressed assets and bank owned properties. The banks do not typically discount proprieties they sell them at retail or for as much as they can get.
