Seeking Commercial Real Estate Opportunities

I am a current college student who will graduate this May with a business management degree. My goal that I would ultimately like to achieve is to become a commercial real estate multi-family investor. I would like to know what would be the best job opportunities out of school where I can maximize my learning in this field, to achieve my goal down the road? I am currently taking a commercial real estate modeling course on how to underwrite property in addition to my school courses. Is there any other books or course work that you can recommend that I can act on now, to improve my knowledge in this field?
