newbee needs help with her first multi family investment

Can anyone assit or guide me in the right direction, I am in the process of buying my first multi family home for investment purpose. I plan on starting of small and build myself up, so i was thinking about buying a duplex. I plan on living in one until and renting out the other unit. Any suggestion on what i should be looking for price range, etc.

Hi guys new to the forum and was wondering if anyone can give me any advise on my first investment deal. In the process of buying my first multi family unit for investment purposes only. I also plan on living in one of the unit since its a fha loan requirement.

I am in the process of house hunting and want to ensure I am not making a bad decision, my budget is 80000 and where i am located I can get some real good deals. what should I be looking fot in the property etc?
