Transfer the title to LLC

Posted

Hi All,

I am planning to close the investment property which is 3 family and planning to transfer the Title to LLC after closing for asset protection and tax advantages. I was just told by lender ( bank) i am not able to do it unless i buy the property with cash. I wasn't sure if this is normal for residential property or do i need to find another lender for financing ??

There are lots of lenders out there that provide financing to LLC's. Here are some I've heard of and worked with: LimaOne, MOFIN, RCN, FlipSimpli. Some of these ONLY lend to LLC's and know the process well, including getting your insurance updated.
