VA HOME LOAN FOR BUILDING A FOURPLEX

Posted

Good afternoon, I just have a question to see if this would even be possible. I recently finished my service in the military and I moved back home to Nevada. I currently live in Las Vegas, but I want to take advantage of my VA loan. I would like to house hack in a multi family property but unfortunately, all the multi family properties for sale are in unsafe areas of the city and smaller properties like duplexes are basically none existent here. I would like to move back to my hometown sometime next year but the same situation is happening there in pahrump, there is no multi family properties for sale. I'm wondering what would be the best way to go about getting a va construction loan and hopefully being able to build my own property through a va loan.
