@David Beasley yes you can own and live in any size property and use the cash flow to offset or pay for your unit. The term house hack originated and generally refers to renting out excess space within one house like a basement, extra room, carriage house over garage etc. This evolved into using a duplex triplex or quad but it really doesn’t matter the size they key is living free or close to it by renting other units or space so size is irrelevant.
