Does anyone have an example of a report a limited partner in a syndication would get as the property is being operated? Thanks!

@Danny Garbe there's no uniform standard as each sponsor develops their own reporting practices.  Having said that, at a minimum this is what you would like to see:

  1. Income statement (P&L) for the reporting period
  2. Balance Sheet
  3. Narrative description of what is going on with the investment

In addition, there are some nice-to-haves as well:

  1. Statement of cash flows
  2. Projected income and expense to actual income and expense comparison
  3. Capital account statement (basically shows contributions and distributions with a starting and ending balance)
