Attracting Investors for Deals
Evening Biggerpockets family, I wanted to get some opinions from those that have been in my shoes. I finally have the opportunity to purchase a multifamily property after working at this business for the last two years. I have a property that I was able to put under contract at a great price or the numbers show. I just wanted to get some networking tips on finding potential investors for the deal. The PPM will be completed in a couple of weeks so can't get deal-specific but its 100 units. I just wanted some tips from the pro's on raising capital while doing their first deal.

Agreed with @Nick B., if you have it under contract you are very late to the game to start raising capital. You're going to need to hustle. Put together a simple deal package (compliant) and have a quick pitch ready to share with anyone you discuss this with. Be sure to stay in compliance. It may benefit you to bring on partners who can help you with closing and operating the deal.
Start right now by taking a paper and pencil and writing down the name of everyone you know who might be a potential investor. If you've discussed investing with them before, great. Go tell them about the awesome opportunity you've put together for them!
