Getting from point A of wanting to buy to Z of buying and Holding

My Bigger Pockets Family,

Let me give a brief introduction. My name is John Allen and I am a Real Estate Broker in Orange County, California. I have represented buyers and sellers for the last 10 years and this is my main source of income. I have bought over 10 units out of state, to be specific Pennsylvania. (for a multitude of reasons)

I want to know a couple things from the community. Through my local community and meet up groups I have found a lot of "talkers, wishers, and wanters" but when the rubber meets the road I have found very few people actually buying properties. So, here it goes:

A) What is the biggest thing or multiple things stopping you from actually pulling the trigger?

B) If an experienced Real Estate Broker and Investor offered a consulting service say for 1,000 dollars to be on call and help you with analysis/Review to help you through the process. Would that be something you would be interested in.

I have my theories on why people don't pull the trigger but I want to hear from you. Please give upvotes to this post because I think this topic is extremely important.

Thank you!

- John Allen
