What’s after Financial Freedom?
Hi Everyone!
I am working on a project and I am interested in hearing from all who have achieved financial freedom from real estate.
- What are your ultimate goals/What else do you want to accomplish?
- How do you spend your time?
- Are you fulfilling your dreams and leading a life of significance? If so, how?
- Have you kept the same “Why” you began your real estate journey with? If not, how has it changed?
- What makes you truly happy? How are you creating more of these experiences?
Thanks in advance for your time and input!

Great questions Matt. You should make a podcast out of this.
I've achieved financial freedom over a decade ago.
So to answer your questions:
- What are your ultimate goals/What else do you want to accomplish?
Answer: to acquire over $1 BILLION of profitable real estate investments and help 100 people along the way. I am putting up a non profit to provide college scholarships to 50 orphan kids and help 50 real estate investors become millionaires by partnering on deals.
- How do you spend your working time?
Answer: Depending on the week or day, I spend 50% of my time on real estate investing, 10-25% in coaching my kids' sports activities and 10-25% helping my church. If I will include the non-working time, then travel and learning new things will be included in the list. For example, I am an avid reader and physical fitness enthusiast (work out several times a week...almost daily). I am also learning Mandarin.
- Are you fulfilling your dreams and leading a life of significance? If so, how?
Answer: Yes I have. I make more money in a month than most people make in a year. So I can buy whatever toys I want. I could buy a fancier car or several cars but I am not a car person. I like helping people and that's how I live a life of significance. For example, I have PAID OFF the mortgage on my mom's house, bought a car for my niece, and as I said, help my church. Now, with a bigger vision, I want to help MORE people.
- Have you kept the same “Why” you began your real estate journey with? If not, how has it changed?
Answer: it's more or less the same why. To live a life of abundance so I can give to my family and others abundantly.
- What makes you truly happy? How are you creating more of these experiences?
Answer: spending time with the kids, and helping people. I am creating more of helping others by enlarging my vision. With $1 Million in properties, you can help a few people, maybe your kids. With $10M, you can help a lot more (now includes your relatives) and with a $1 BILLION or more, now you can make a real impact on the world.
