When should I consider starting a meetup?

Chris Reid
Posted

I am incredibly eager to meet like minded people in my area and begin to build relationships with both experienced and new people in the multi family space. I am yet to buy my first investment as I just graduated college a few months ago. The problem is, I haven’t bought my own investment yet although I do have a vast amount of knowledge on several different subjects within the multi family space.

I think that I should wait on the meetup until I at least buy one property and get one potential partner (friends, etc.)

What is your advice on qualifications you should have when it comes to starting a meetup?

@Chris Reid right now is the best time to do anything!

That being said what is the purpose of the meetup? What are you trying to accomplish? Who are your target members? There are some very specific things you can and need to do to pull off a successful meetup depending on the goal.
