When should I consider starting a meetup?

I am incredibly eager to meet like minded people in my area and begin to build relationships with both experienced and new people in the multi family space. I am yet to buy my first investment as I just graduated college a few months ago. The problem is, I haven’t bought my own investment yet although I do have a vast amount of knowledge on several different subjects within the multi family space.

I think that I should wait on the meetup until I at least buy one property and get one potential partner (friends, etc.)

What is your advice on qualifications you should have when it comes to starting a meetup?
